Negative emotions come from whatever thoughts we hold onto in our heads. When we wake in the morning we remember who we are, attach emotions to those memories, and begin acting out our day. Who we are is based on our upbringing, the perception of our experiences, how much we accept the beliefs of others and how conscious we are of our relation to nature including the earth, her inhabitants, and all of creation.

The answer to how to change your life does not mean ignoring things that you have to take care of. What it does mean is to not operate and move forward in the world with bad feelings. Yes, we have to take care of our problems, but we must do so with a calm emotional state. A calm emotional state comes from questioning the thoughts that rule our feelings, being in touch with nature and not letting our instincts control our actions.

A fast way to be in touch with nature is to regularly touch or envision the earth below. Another way is to ask yourself which way is north or south or etc. We can also get in touch with nature's finest creation - our own body. The best way to connect to your body is to observe the breath and heartbeat. You can simply ask the questions - is my heart beating or am I breathing. In order to answer you will be forced to momentarily observe your body.
