Will I Learn Meditation for Beginners? |
| |
Yes, you will find within this site, various content on meditation for beginners. If you have never meditated before you will start with a simple meditation for beginners which is to focus on any bodily function such as your breathing or heartbeat. When you focus on a body function - be it your breath, heartbeat, your stomach, the saliva in your mouth - you are forced, even if momentarily, to be present in the moment and connected to nature through your body.
Through centuries of the agendas of various people, groups and institutions most humans have been removed from their basic essence. To perform advanced meditation or even practice meditation for beginners the main ideas is to remove most, if not all, of the noise in one's head so that they can connect with nature which is to connect to the true essence of their soul. A person's soul can be looked at as a drop of the larger ocean of universal spirit. Universal spirit, or God, is the energy that sparked creation, and the driving power behind all things living and inert.
When you practice meditation for beginners you will likely feel a weight lifted off of your shoulders. It's like living with a huge debt load, losing your job and then learning that you won the lottery. When you meditate you may experience an exuberant sigh of relief. It doesn't mean that your responsibilities and challenges are gone but it does mean that you will face them with better energy and focus. Once you learn how to meditate you can use the technique at any time even if just for a few seconds. If you are at a red light in heavy traffic you can ask yourself a simple question such as – am i breathing? – and then take a deep breath to confirm.
Part of the practice of HealthyIsm is to join others a couple of times a day in a global meditation as shown in the link on the side of this page. People from all around the world are joining each other to meditate, pray or focus on things that make them feel good. Join the global meditation or practice meditating on your own – you just might like it! |
