It is easy to find tips for better life but the hard part is to putting those tips into practice. In order to apply tips for better life one has to let go of their old thought patterns and adopt new ones. The subtitle of the book HealthyIsm is The Evolutionary Practice of Constructive Consciousness which alludes that higher levels of consciousness is the next step in our evolution. As a species becoming conscious of their weaknesses, humans are slowly moving away from destructive actions. If a person becomes aware that they are sitting on the wrong side of a branch that they are sawing off of a tree, they will likely move to the other side of the branch. A person may become aware by themselves or, because they are so focused on their thoughts and actions, it may take someone jumping up and down and shouting at them until they stop and look at where they are sitting. This is an evolution of consciousness – from unconscious to conscious, to making a change, and then moving. A better life for all of humanity is going to come when we wake up to one major reality – we are being controlled by our instincts and outdated dogmas based on scarcity and disconnection with others the earth and all of creation. It's time to hear the shouting of our intuition, of the clusters of aware people around the globe and of the jumping up and down of our personal and global messes – it's time to move to the other side of the branch. |
